Pieces arrive from flea markets in Picardy and elsewhere. We sort them, set aside those that will not last, and fully restore the rest: straightened, polished, made good as new. They come out looking new, except they are not. Nothing is melted down, nothing is thrown away.
Each letter is struck with a punch and a mallet, one by one. A name, a date, a few kind words, a short phrase: the text is yours. There is no machine, so no two engravings are alike.

It was in the orchards of Moismont, in Picardy, that Axelle's grandmother, the founder, passed on to her, over flea markets walked together, a taste for beautiful things and for sharing. So it was natural for us to borrow her nickname to write this story.
For us, hunting for antiques is not just about finding objects but about listening to the story of their life. We like the idea that they can carry messages.
